Before starting to work at SNG & Partners, Ravi held important positions at global companies such as Aviva Life Insurance and Marsh Insurance, where he worked at the CXO level. He also served as Executive Director Legal at JP Morgan Service India Pvt Ltd, Head of Legal & Compliance at Novartis Healthcare’s India drug development center, and Executive Legal at Max Life Insurance.
Ravi holds membership in both the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa. He has over two decades of experience in the legal field, working in sectors like Insurance, Insurtech & Fintech, Banking & Financial Services, and Healthcare. He has a strong track record of managing complex legal issues and is known for his strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
Throughout his career, Ravi has advised clients on a wide range of legal matters, including insurance laws, corporate laws, mergers & acquisitions, regulatory affairs, and litigation. He has played a key role in various aspects of the insurance business, from product structuring to setting up digital platforms and creating distribution partnerships with banks. He has also developed frameworks for web aggregation to improve consumer access and decision-making.
Ravi has successfully guided entry and investment strategies in India, managed high-value transactions, and contributed to shaping regulatory frameworks. He is recognized for his ability to build and lead high-performing legal teams.
